In our Christian hymnody, we sing through the Carols of Christmas while declaring scripture, doctrine and ringing out TRUTH!
In John 1:14 we read, “The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
We cannot give enough praise, glory and worship to Christ our King! As the Word, He was there in the beginning, He stepped out of heaven to be born fully man, yet fully God to be our Savior.
We are incredibly blessed at Schweitzer to experience different styles of worship, yet what many churches casually label “worship wars” is not a reality here. Music plays a huge part in all that we are as a church, no matter the style. As long as Jesus is the gift, the packaging can be different.
We are excited this year to offer a worship experience that has elements from both our modern and traditional worship teams along, with a 60-plus voice choir and full orchestra.
Lean in and invite others as we celebrate the “Carols of Christmas” on Sunday, December 17. On this Sunday, we will have three morning services at 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00 am. Each service will be similar and will also be live-streamed at schweitzer.live.
Of course, there is one request, that you offer your own Gloria and join in declaring the songs of joy!
