We were not designed for isolation but are meant to find our purpose and be transformed in the context of community. Our spiritual communities have many expressions, but all with the common goal of making disciples who make disciples. As we engage in the process of becoming a disciple, there is space to Explore and Engage in conversations about Jesus and discover how this all fi ts together in community. This fall is the perfect opportunity to dive into a small group or class on Sunday morning, Wednesday night or during the week. Several groups will be going through a course called Practicing the Way . Th is video series is a practical invitation into a life of apprenticeship to Jesus. Together we’ll refl ect on our spiritual practices and begin to experiment with new ones as we enter a rhythm of spiritual formation. Th is course is not about what we believe, but about how the Holy Spirit changes our lives from the inside out; it is perfect for anyone looking to experience a closer relationship with God.
We are also excited to continue expanding opportunities for Alpha as we move off the church campus. Alpha is a safe and non-judgmental place for non-believers and believers alike to discuss their thoughts and feelings about life, faith, and the big questions we all have. It is a series of videos and discussions that provides an introduction to the Christian faith in an informal, fun, and friendly environment. Alpha sessions are being held worldwide bringing people to Jesus.
