It is only fall but we know people are already thinking about Christmas, especially the team of ladies planning this year’s Christmas Tea (Teresa Poole, Diane Hays, Robin Di Trolio and Louise Blumenstock).
The Christmas Tea is a fun event where you can dress up (or not), it’s the perfect invite for a friend and a kick-off to the Christmas Season. Th is year’s Christmas Tea will be held on Saturday, December 7 at 11:30 a.m. in Memorial Hall. This sell-out event is always a highlight for attendees and also for the organizations it benefits. We are happy to announce that we have added additional tables to accommodate more guests this year and have selected a benefi ciary for the Silent Auction.
During the past two years, the Tea’s Silent Auction raised over $9,000 to support local community organizations, including Harmony House, Newborns in Need, Embrace Grace and Flourish CDC. Proceeds from the 2024 Tea will support the Grow to Know Preschool. Funds will help with costs related to improving the toddler playground. Grow to Know is a Christ-centered preschool that is an outreach to our community. Additionally, the shared playground spaces are utilized by Schweitzer Kids on Sunday and Wednesday.
