Yes, there is an element of what some might call “cheese” with this title, but at its core, this name reflects the heart and hope behind it. And what exactly is this, one might ask?
It is to have a church publication that is not simply a list of all the things to do, but one that encourages each reader to take a next step.

When I first saw the name scribbled on a staff meeting notepad by Jason, I admit I dismissed it, but the word sparkled in my mind echoing many hours later. The thought turned into a melody, and I found myself singing a song from my childhood called, “Pass It On.”

This song, written in 1969 for a youth musical, contains these opening lyrics:

It only takes a spark
To get a fire going
And soon all those around
Can warm up in its glowing
That’s how it is with God’s love
Once you’ve experienced it
You spread His love to ev’ryone
You want to pass it on

We hope this publication sparks something new in your life or helps grow that flame for God in your heart even more. We desire the content to be both encouraging and helpful as you invite and share God’s love with our community, family, and friends.
