As we move beyond Easter toward Pentecost, and conclude our walk through the Gospel of John, you may want to recall some of the powerful words we’ve read this year. Seven verses are offered here, or you might choose others to consider during these 50 days.
Try devoting a week to each verse. Ask the Holy Spirit to open your mind and heart to the message found there. Some helpful activities include memorizing, copying the verse by hand on notecards or in a journal, and even praying the verses.
If you have never done anything like this before, take heart! Remember: He is the Vine; we are the branches. His life flows through us. He produces fruit as we abide in Him.
