This fall, on September 15, we will start a new series as we turn our attention to the small, provocative book at the end of the Bible: 1 Peter. Peter’s short letter is a practical guide to faithful living in the midst of our increasingly secular age. We live in a culture that sees the Christian faith as landing somewhere between irrelevant and toxic.
How do we navigate this world?
In this series, we’ll read through 1 Peter line-by-line as he teaches very practical issues that every follower of Jesus will face. We’ll consider things like the role of our vocation as a witness to Christ, how we think and use political power, the paradox and witness of Christian marriage, how to share a gentle word of evangelism, and how to grow in faithful Christian leadership. You won’t want to miss this series as we will be challenged to think through our role as salt and light in this unique age in which we find ourselves.
