“I see other moms but don’t know how to talk to them?”
“I need a space to share about being a mom.”
“I need community.”
MOMS!! Can you relate to any of these thoughts? If so, our new mom’s group is for you. Moms of Minis (MOMs) is specially designed for mothers with kids ages birth through Pre-K.
Our first meeting will be Saturday, January 27, from 9 to 11 am. We will continue to meet monthly going forward, on the third Saturday.
Each month, we will offer a delicious catered breakfast ($5 donation requested), have a time of devotional encouragement, and hear from mentor moms about what they have learned along the way.
“Our hope is that this will grow to be a community where moms can experience deep relationships,” Taylor Zen, Director of Kids Birth to Pre-K shared.
“Often friendships change when someone becomes a parent. In developing this group, I’ve talked with several moms who are looking for other moms to do life within this new chapter.”
Childcare is available for each meeting, but advance registration is required. Sign up to be part of MOMs by using the QR code below or by visiting us online at schweitzer.church/groups.
If you are beyond this season of life but have a heart for holding babies once a month and supporting young moms, we need folks who can serve as part of the childcare team. Contact Taylor Zen by email at email@example.com for details.
One of the great things about this group is the supportive team of Mentor Moms who will be there to listen and share tips for the younger days. Our mentor moms include Kallie Rowlett, Karen Breithaupt, Carrie Henry, Nicole Cologna, Laura Daughtery, Deb Sanderson, Ana Leininger & Cassie Rainwater.
