The “Really Cool People” podcast was launched in April 2023 by Pastor Jason Leininger with the aim of highlighting remarkable individuals in our community. Jason said, “The stories of everyday people are more inspiring than those of celebrities and big names.” Really Cool People has had six seasons, with season seven set to release this spring.
The first episode of the “Beyond Sunday” podcast debuted in April 2024 when Pastor Jason recognized the need for a podcast to highlight and celebrate ministries and stories that you might not hear about on a Sunday. Every week, this podcast features an exciting behind-the-scenes look at a new or existing ministry.
“Theology In Public Life” is a newer podcast within the Schweitzer lineup and does not follow a specific release schedule. Pastor Jason sought to create a long-form podcast that explores the intersection of theology, faith, and public life. Each episode features a conversation with a leader about how their convictions shape how they engage the world.
The first episode of “Students On Air” was released in August of 2025. Hosted by Robert Freeman and me, and produced by one of Schweitzer’s interns, Sean Blowers, this podcast exists to help bridge the gap between the church and the Student Ministry. Each episode features a student discussing what’s going on in their life and the life of the Student Ministry.
