With the new year upon us, many of us find ourselves taking an inventory of our lives, thinking through
questions like what went well this year and what habits we want to pick up in the new year. However, even as we examine many areas of our lives, how often do we take a spiritual inventory? Now is a great time to reflect on your spiritual journey, both past and future, perhaps by answering these two questions:
- Where and how might God be inviting me to meet with him?
- In what ways am I becoming more like Jesus?
Knowing the direction in which youโre moving will help shine a light on your next steps, but as always, I donโt recommend that you embark on the next leg of your spiritual journey by yourself. As an old proverb states, โIf you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together.โ There are many upcoming opportunities to join with others in following Jesus. Here are just a few of the options coming up, with many more coming soon.
