Wednesday Nights for Kids & Students

If you spend time at Schweitzer on a Wednesday night, throughout the building you’ll hear music, games, laughter, and many conversations – especially in our Schweitzer Kids & Student Ministry areas.

Schweitzer Students (7th-12th) and Schweitzer Kids (Newborn-6th) meet from 6:30 to 8:15 pm.

In the Student Center, you’ll find a lively group of middle and high schoolers. Director of Student Ministry, Levi Zen shared,

“This semester, we have changed our format. On the first and fourth weeks of each month, we spend time in Christian conversation. In the second week, we focus on Biblical teaching in a large-group setting. The third week, we spend time serving our community by doing service projects both on and off campus.” On Wednesday, Feb. 21, Schweitzer students will take a trip to hand-deliver cards made for residents at Magnolia Square Nursing Home.

An active place to find kids at Schweitzer is in the Route 56 space on the second floor. Route 56 is our group designed specifically for fifth and sixth graders.

“In Route 56 – and all our classes – we build relationships as we learn Scripture, worship and play games,” shared Stiffany Taylor, Director of Kids K-6th. “Our recent series is called Playlist. The idea is to discover what songs of truth might be on their list. We look at Scripture to help them discover who God says they are. This has been a favorite lesson!”
